Basic Pistol - Gales Creek
Are you new to pistols and want to get off to the right start? You will learn the basics of safety and how to get the most out of your guns and gear. Bring your questions and willingness to learn. Upon completion, you will be able to safely operate your firearm and effectively hit your target.

About the event

Range Safety, Home Safety & Carry Safety
Oregon Law
Fundamentals of Marksmanship
You will need to bring:
A handgun and matching magazine (if a semi-auto and two is better)
Proper matching ammunition (4 boxes of 50 is usually enough)
Eye protection - required
Ear protection - required (over the ears or in the ear)
Baseball Style hat preferred to keep hot brass off your face & eyes
Folding chair for short discussions and breaks
Snacks & Hydration if desired
This class is typically "shot off a table" and will be ran as a "cold range."
You do not need carry gear, race gear or duty gear.
Price includes: Your Range Fee, Training Certificate and all Instruction.
*This course will qualify you for your CHL training certificate if you are applying for one with your local Sheriff's Office. It will be provided to you day of training.
